Rehabilitation planning
This service provides you with information on various rehabilitation opportunities to make it easier to live with an illness or injury.
Rehabilitation planning includes the planning of rehabilitation organised by Kela's intensive rehabilitation or an insurance company and the planning of rehabilitation for persons of all ages with developmental disabilities.
For assessments of rehabilitation needs performed by parties other than Kela and insurance companies, contact the rehabilitation services and/or health station in your region. In matters related to rehabilitation, guidance, counselling or other support for persons with developmental disabilities, contact the rehabilitation coordinator.
Rehabilitation plans for the Kela's intensive medical rehabilitation are prepared in public health care. More detailed information on intensive medical rehabilitation is available on the Kela website.
See the health stations' websites for health station fees. The service of rehabilitation coordinators is free of charge.
