Self-assessment of fire safety in residential buildings
A self-assessment of fire safety in a residential building is carried out by the occupant of the building using instructions and materials provided by the Rescue Department. The occupant completes and returns a questionnaire based on which the rescue authority decides on the necessary follow-up measures. These include advising the occupant on fire safety issues or agreeing on an inspection visit.
