Activities supporting employment (Social Welfare Act, section 27 d)
We arrange different support measures for employment for people who, due to their disability or illness, require them.
Activities that support employment are suitable for you if you need special support for finding employment due to a disability, illness or other long-term reason.
The support may include:
- work try-outs that allow you to try out different tasks and find a suitable job.
- job coaching that comprises guidance and support in your work tasks
- adjustment of work tasks to suit you
- help from a job coach in finding seeking employment and applying for a job.
This activity takes place at an ordinary workplace where you are employed as a paid employee and receive pay in accordance with the collective agreement. A job coach will support you and, if necessary, your employer.
