We provide necessary personal assistance.
Personal assistance ensures that your right to self-determination is realised even when you require help from another person.
It provides you with the support needed to carry out regular everyday tasks that you cannot perform independently due to a disability, enabling you to live more independently.
To qualify for this support, you must be able to form and express your own wishes regarding the nature of the assistance-either independently or with help.
If you are unable to communicate your wishes by any means, we can secure your right to self-determination and inclusion through alternative services, such as special support for inclusion, coaching, or housing support services.
You may receive personal assistance for various aspects of independent living, including:
- daily routines and activities
- work and study
- social interaction, leisure activities, and participation in society.
Conditions for receiving the Service
In relation to personal assistance, a person is considered to have a severe disability if they absolutely and constantly need the help of another person to manage normal life functions due to their long-term or progressive disability or illness. The need for assistance must be caused by factors other than illnesses and functional limitations related to ageing. Personal assistance does not refer to needs that mainly require care, treatment and monitoring. Personal assistance is not a substitute for home care.Oima
