The service supports the functional capacity and work ability of persons with developmental disabilities and promotes their access to working life. We support your strengths in your participation in working life. We will work with you to plan the content and volume of the activities to meet your needs. Depending on the objectives set for you and the content of the service, the work activities may be either group-based or individual. The workplace can be located in an activity centre or any other suitable location.
Conditions for receiving the Service
Activities supporting employment, work activities, work activities for persons with developmental disabilities and day activities form a service package that promotes the inclusion and employment opportunities of persons with disabilities by means of social welfare. The service is intended for persons with developmental disabilities if work activities organised under the Social Welfare Act or activities supporting employment do not meet the individual needs of the person with developmental disabilities. We organise the services according to your needs and allow you to move flexibly between them. For example, if you work part-time in paid employment, you can also participate in day or work activities on some days. The main source of income for clients of the service is their pension income. The service is free of charge. A person with developmental disabilities may receive free transport to work activities for persons with developmental disabilities if they have specific mobility difficulties and cannot independently use public transport without unreasonable difficulties.
A voluntary meal is subject to a fee.
