Auroranportti Community Living

The aim of the service is to maintain and promote the client’s functional ability and to support them in rehabilitating towards a less supported form of housing. Based on the assessment of service needs, clients may either manage their own meal arrangements independently or receive meal services within the unit. Laundry services are not provided.

The client’s service needs are assessed regularly. The service is temporary.

The client pays the rent themselves according to the tenancy agreement. The property is an ARA‑regulated property with an asset limit.

The apartments in Auroranportti Community Living are accessible and located in a corridor‑access building (Building A). In the same building, there are staff office facilities and a handicraft workshop.

Building B contains shared spaces such as a sauna, laundry room, TV room, dining area, bicycle storage, and staff facilities. The apartments in Building B are intended for clients in 24‑hour supported housing.

The apartments include studios and three‑room units, which can be furnished with a dining set and a bed if needed. Each apartment has a kitchen and a bathroom with a toilet. The client is responsible for other furnishings, and staff will guide if necessary.

The personnel is multidisciplinary and present daily from 7 am to 9 pm.

The service is not suitable for persons with violent disruptive behaviour or active substance use.

Auroranportti Community Living is located in Järvenperä, Espoo, with good access to public transport; the bus stop is located right next to the property. The distance to services in Leppävaara is approximately 10 km and to Espoo Centre about 8 km. The nearest grocery store is less than a kilometre away.
