Lunna OireApuri is a digital service that assesses your need for medical care and its urgency based on your symptoms using predictive AI algorithms. The service guides you to the most appropriate place of care for your situation.
The OireApuri is intended for adults only, meaning individuals aged 18 or over. Persons under the age of 18 are not allowed to use the service. The service can only be used for your own health-related matters; it cannot be used on behalf of another person.
The OireApuri is intended for users who have sufficient ability to understand health-related information and basic skills in using a smartphone or computer.
After registering for Lunna, you do not need a separate account or additional registration to use the OireApuri, as it is part of the Lunna service.
The service is available in Finnish and English. In the health centre’s digital clinic chat, you can also communicate in Swedish.
The OireApuri is being piloted in the Kirkkonummi area between June 2026 and December 2026.
The OireApuri assesses your need for medical care and its urgency based on your symptoms using predictive AI algorithms.
You will be asked to enter your age, gender, and information about your symptoms. The AI uses this information to ask follow-up questions and analyse the data in order to estimate the likelihood of certain conditions. At the end, you will receive guidance on how and where to seek care.
The OireApuri is available daily from 8:00 to 20:00.
The OireApuri must not be used:
- in emergency situations
- if you have multiple symptoms or conditions at the same time
- for ongoing monitoring of chronic or pre-existing conditions
- if you have severe cognitive or learning difficulties
- if you do not have sufficient language skills or if your functioning is impaired due to illness or intoxication
