Senior Info to launch in December
A regional counselling and client guidance unit for the elderly, Senior Info, will be established in the Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County. This change is part of the launch of the Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County.
Starting on 20 December 2022, Senior Info will provide all the elderly in Western Uusimaa with competent counselling to support ageing with dignity, living at home and help with applying for services. Senior Info is a service that operates throughout the Wellbeing Services County. Its aim is to make services more accessible and to harmonise the process of applying for services and their accessibility in Western Uusimaa. You only need to contact Senior Info, and they will forward your matter if necessary!
The launch of Senior Info will cause changes to the residents’ service channels. The customer service numbers and electronic contact channels for the elderly that are currently used in municipalities will be decommissioned (e.g. Nestori in Espoo). These will be replaced by new contact channels (customer service number, email, electronic contact forms) that are common to the entire Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County.
Service needs assessments and services will be provided in residents’ own municipalities just like up to this point.
Things to keep in mind
- The Senior Info counselling service of Western Uusimaa launches on 20 December 2022. Please note that, after this, the municipalities’ current customer service numbers for the elderly will no longer be in use!
Senior Info helps you in matters related to well-being, ageing and day-to-day life. The service is available to all elderly people and their loved ones.
