The Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County offers the Family Path online course for free to all families with children aged 0–16. The course provides parents with information and peer support during their children’s important developmental stages. The online course is available throughout 2023.

The aim of the course is to support families and strengthen the ability to face one’s own challenging emotions and thoughts in a balanced and accepting way. Self-compassion has been shown to reduce anxiety, depression, and exhaustion. Family Path aims to lessen stressors, strengthen the family’s resources and enhance well-being.

The online course consists of research and expert information, tests, reflective exercises, and peer stories from families. The materials of the Family Path online course (3 sessions) are available in Finnish and Swedish. The course for families with small children (0–6 years of age) is available in English as well.

Registration is required to access the course materials. After registration, you will be able to log in to the course at: https://perhepolku.fi/en/course(external link)
