Lunna, the new digital service platform for Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County, is now live. Lunna provides a convenient way to contact our professionals—either via chat or a non-urgent message. Lunna is a quick and simple alternative to phone calls.
Lunna is your primary contact method
We aim for as many Western Uusimaa residents as possible to sign up and use Lunna. You're still welcome to call or visit, but we recommend Lunna as the primary way to reach us.

Chat Service on weekdays 8:00–16:00
The Lunna chat service is available for health stations, maternity and child health clinics, dental care, Senior Info, and the general customer service. In the chat, you will receive a response quickly and it is even suitable for urgent questions, like asking about a new symptom. The chat is open on weekdays from 8:00 to 16:00.
Send a non-urgent message anytime
You can send a non-urgent message at any time that suits you. These messages are accepted around the clock every day, and a professional will respond within 3 weekdays at the latest.
Safe and multilingual
Using Lunna is secure. Login requires strong authentication with online banking codes or a mobile certificate. The general customer service can also be used without authentication.
The site is available in Finnish, Swedish, and English.
You will also be able to act on behalf of someone else in Lunna if you have an authorisation, such as a Suomi.fi authorisation. Users from outside Western Uusimaa can also use the service.
Mostly free of charge
As a rule, the chat service and the non-urgent messaging service are provided free of charge in Lunna. If you are redirected from a chat discussion with a nurse at the digital clinic to a discussion with a doctor, a health centre fee for the appointment may apply in the same way as for phone appointments. We will always inform you of any charges before establishing contact. Additionally, certain remote appointments might incur a fee.
More services comings
Additional functions will be introduced to Lunna as early as May, including contact options for rehabilitation services. In autumn 2025, we plan to expand the platform to include adult social work, mental health and substance abuse services, and disability services.
