Wellbeing Services and search engine now published in English

You can use our wellbeing service search engine to discover local activities and services that support your health and wellbeing. The goal set up for the service is to promote wellbeing and health while reducing health disparities. The search engine also offers Western Uusimaa residents easier access to services provided by municipalities and organisations.

In addition to the search engine, the website contains theme pages with service presentations and links on different topics. The themes include Exercise and physical activity, Mental wellbeing, Nutrition and food and Wellbeing for the elderly.

Some pages in the English-language version have not yet been translated. The number of results in the search engine may vary based on the language version. The search engine provides results including services, activities and events in the Lähellä.fi service and the Finnish Service Catalogue, where organisations, municipalities, parishes and other actors can enter their own services. These services are not always available in all three languages. You can use a free-text search or select a location, age group or theme. In addition to the municipalities in Western Uusimaa, you can search for services and events offered also in other parts of Finland.
