Lunna digital services platform to expand – already 46,000 satisfied users
The wellbeing services county’s e-service Lunna is expanding. Starting from 27 May, users can use Lunna to manage more of their issues easily and smoothly. A new service to be introduced is video appointments for rehabilitation.
Clients in need of rehabilitation can use Lunna to send a non-urgent message and get responses from rehabilitation coordinators and physiotherapists. Introducing video appointments to Lunna facilitates easier service use as the services will be available in a single location.
Video appointments particularly provide flexibility for physiotherapy and occupational therapy clients. The first appointment is often arranged face-to-face with the client, but further appointments can be carried out via video. This makes daily life more convenient and improves the accessibility of the service. At the same time, the background information form streamlines service use and supports the work to prepare for appointments. It is now available to all rehabilitation clients in Lunna.
Positive client feedback on Lunna
Lunna was introduced on 9 April. In just over a month, approximately 46,000 people from Western Uusimaa have already registered for the service, and their number is increasing daily.
The median response time for Lunna chat messages is 3 minutes. The number of resolved chats is nearly 15,000. During the first month, many users received responses to their non-urgent messages during the same day.
Client satisfaction rates have been excellent: clients have given an average grade of 4.1 on a scale of one to five. Users have particularly praised the speed and ease of use of the service.
Many Lunna users have wished that the service would include an appointment booking feature. This is not yet possible but is planned for 2026. At the moment, the most convenient way to book an appointment is through the chat feature.
Lunna also helps users during the summer
People tend to move around and take their holidays during the summer – and wherever they go, Lunna will be there. Users can also manage their issues on their mobile phone or computer, whether spending time at their cottage, travelling or sitting on their couch at home. Lunna also serves recreational residents and tourists spending time temporarily in Western Uusimaa.
Some of the wellbeing services county’s service points have reduced opening hours in the summer. For topical information, see the luvn.fi website. Lunna operates during the summer in the same way as any other time: the chat is open on weekdays from 8:00 to 16:00, and users can send non-urgent messages every day around the clock.
