Some text messages are directed to the spam folder on Android phones
We have noticed that some of the text messages sent by the wellbeing services county are automatically directed to the spam folder on the recipient’s phone. This issue particularly affects phones using the Android operating system, where Google Messages is the default messaging app.
What is it about?
The text messages we send contain important information, such as cancellation of appointments and other current notifications related to our services. Currently, these messages do not always reach the customer, because they are caught in the phone’s spam filter.
If you have a phone with the Android operating system and Google Messages as your default messaging app and you have used our services in the recent past, please check the spam folder in the app.
If you have received a message from a phone number used by the wellbeing services county and the message has been marked as spam, follow these steps:
- Open the message in the spam folder.
- Choose ‘No spam’ or a similar option in the message.
- Add the Western Wellbeing Services County (‘LUVN’) as a sender in your reliable contact details.
or
- change your default messaging app to Samsung Messages, for example.
We apologise for the inconvenience and do our best to ensure that messages reach our customers reliably.
Pahoittelemme häiriötä ja teemme parhaamme, jotta viestit tavoittavat asiakkaamme luotettavasti.
