Changes to billing for services billed monthly in March

‌We will introduce a shared client information system on Tuesday, 17 March 2026.‌ Because of this change, billing for social services billed monthly will differ from the usual schedule in March. The change will not affect the client’s service, and clients do not need to do anything.

There will be changes during the spring to client fees billed monthly, such as client fees for home care or housing services. The change is due to the introduction of the new system.

The reform will not affect the client’s service, and clients do not need to do anything because of the change.

March invoices will be sent in two parts in Espoo and Kauniainen

Billing for March 2026 will be carried out in two instalments. Clients will receive two separate invoices:

  • 1–16 March 2026
  • 17–31 March 2026

During the spring, a single invoice may include charges for more than one month. In such cases, a longer payment period will automatically be given for the invoice.

Any delays will affect only client fees billed monthly. Rent invoices will be sent as usual. No significant delays are expected in visit fees either, such as charges for oral healthcare or physician services.

Extending the payment period

If an invoice has not yet reached its due date and previous invoices have been paid, the payment period can be extended. In such cases, please contact Sarastia customer service either by calling  020 6399 400 (weekdays 9.00–13.00) or using the online service.(external link)
