Parenting guidance and family counselling
In child upbringing and family counselling, we offer support for family life, relationships and children and young people’s growth.
Parenting guidance and family counselling is part of the services of the family centre.
Parenting guidance and family counselling is provided to families expecting a baby or with children aged 0-17. The service provides your family with comprehensive support to promote your child's and teenager's well-being by strengthening parenting and family relationships.
Counselling includes guidance related to the child's development, relationships and social skills. The work supports the development of your family's interaction. Professionals in social work and psychology may take part in the work. We will agree on the work with your family.
Contact parenting guidance and family counselling if:

- you are concerned about your child's development, behavior, or social relationships
- your family is going or has gone through changes or is losing or has lost someone

The consent of both guardians is required to initiate a child's customer relationship. The service is confidential, but with your permission, we can also cooperate with other professionals involved in your family's affairs. The discussions with us are completely voluntary.
