Services for families with infants
Maternity and child health clinics offer support for expectant parents and families with infants under one year old.
The psychologist service for families with infants is intended to strengthen the relationship and interaction between parents and their baby, while also supporting parenthood.
The work aims to help parents:
- build safe and nurturing parenting practices
- identify and understand factors that may hinder their parenting
- understand the baby's needs, and
- discover enjoyable ways of connecting with their baby.
The content and working methods are always planned individually together with the family. The work may begin as early as during pregnancy.

You can book, check or cancel appointments through your own family worker in Lunna or by visiting luvn.terveytesi.fi.
A fee of EUR 56.70 may be charged if a client fails to use and cancel a scheduled service.
Even if the service in question is free of charge, the client is not exempted from the fee for a missed appointment without prior cancellation. You need to cancel your appointment by noon on the previous working day.
No fee is charged for clients under 18 years of age.
