Become a support person for someone with a disability
Volunteer as a support person and make a difference in the life of someone with a disability.
Want to make a difference with 10 hours of your time each month?
Join our team of support volunteers and help create meaningful, enjoyable experiences for individuals with disabilities. As a support person, you'll be compensated for your time on an hourly basis. We are currently looking for volunteers in Western Uusimaa.
Why become a support person?
- Joy: Volunteering and helping others sparks joy in both you and those you support.
- Compensation: Receive an hourly compensation for your time and effort.
- Training: No experience? No problem! We provide all the training and guidance you need.
- Experience: Gaining experience as a support person can be beneficial in future job opportunities, among other things.
Who can volunteer?
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- You have an interest in helping others and giving your time to a good cause.
- No prior experience is required.
- We also need volunteers who speak various languages. You can communicate with Disability Services staff in Finnish, Swedish, or English. In addition to these, we have clients who speak Arabic, Russian, and other languages.
