Wellbeing for families and young people

Healthy eating – a cornerstone of wellbeing in families

A varied, nutritious diet supports the growth, development and everyday life of children and young people. Healthy eating habits promote concentration, mood and immune function, and lay the foundation for good health in adulthood. Eating together and making conscious food choices also strengthens family interaction and shared routines. If you cook and have your meals together, the children will learn to cook and eat healthy and tasty food.
