Contact and Appointment Booking for Oral Health Services
We respond to contact requests both digitally and by phone. To ensure smooth service, please use only one contact channel at a time. If you have called, please wait for our callback. If you have sent a message in Lunna, please wait for the reply there. Using multiple contact channels for the same matter slows down our service and increase waiting times.

Book an Appointment Online at luvn.terveytesi.fi
You can book an appointment at luvn.terveytesi.fi in the following situations. Through the service, you can also check, reschedule, or cancel your appointment and complete the pre-visit questionnaire.
- Emergency dental care for adults - For urgent issues such as severe pain or swelling not relieved by painkillers. Same-day appointments are available at Espoo or Lohja Hospital. New slots open daily at 00:01.
- Chipped tooth / other troublesome issue - For semi-urgent matters that do not require immediate treatment. Note: Not for check-ups.
- Check-ups and treatment, when you have an ongoing treatment plan.
- Children’s and young people’s check-ups: Children and adolescents are invited for periodic check-ups according to the wellbeing services county’s schedule.
You may also book an appointment for another municipality. If you do, please be prepared to attend any follow-up visits at the same dental clinic. For example, if an Espoo resident books their appointment for Lohja, follow-up visits will also be in Lohja. This ensures continuity of care and the best possible treatment.
Lunna
The Lunna chat service is open weekdays 8:00–16:00 You can handle appointment-related matters via the chat, for instance. Chat is designed for near-real-time conversation; the thread closes if you do not reply within 10 minutes.
You can send us a non-urgent message at any time. You can ask about your treatment, for example. Appointment booking cannot be done via the non-urgent message. We will get back to you within three weekdays. We will wait for your response for three weekdays before closing the thread.
Once a chat or message thread has been closed, you cannot send new messages to it. For a new matter, start a new chat or send a new message.

- Dental emergency care number: weekdays 7:00–16:00
- Non-urgent appointment booking number: weekdays 8:00–16:00

You can book an appointment by phone if you are a new client or do not yet have an individual treatment plan.
We use a callback service. We will call you back from 029 151 2770 (Espoo) or 029 151 3200 (other municipalities; this number cannot be called). We will try calling you twice.
Cancelling an Appointment
Occasionally, schedules may change, making it necessary to cancel a previously scheduled appointment. By doing so, we can offer the appointment slot to someone else. Cancellations must be made no later than 12:00 (noon) on the previous day. Please note that for individuals aged 18 and above, a fee of EUR 56.70 will be charged for missed appointments that were not cancelled in advance.
