Extensive disruptions in patient information systems on Wednesday
There have been extensive disruptions in the patient information systems of the Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County on Wednesday, 9 October. Among other things, booking of seasonal vaccination appointments has been difficult due to the disruptions.
There has been an extensive disruption in the client and patient information system used in Espoo on Wednesday morning, 9 October. The system has been slow, and professionals have not been able to use the system. Due to the disruption, it has not been possible to make calls normally and clients have not been able to book, for example, vaccination appointments online. The situation is starting to return to normal, but enhanced monitoring will continue throughout today and tomorrow morning.
Digital appointment booking has also been slow elsewhere in the Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County due to high demand on Wednesday morning, 9 October. The situation is starting to return to normal.
If digital appointment booking for the seasonal vaccination is not successful, please try accessing the service again later. This morning’s disruption has also congested our telephone appointment booking service. At the moment, the telephone appointment booking service is available for people over 75 years of age. The telephone appointment booking service will become available to others starting from 16 October.
