Some invoices for home care and housing services have been delayed

25.8.2026 12.57

Some clients receiving home care and housing services in the Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County have not received their client fee invoices on the usual schedule. The delays are due to a system change. We apologise for the inconvenience this situation is causing our clients.

The delays affect some client fees for home care and housing services billed monthly from March 2026 onwards. Not all clients are affected, and some invoices have been sent on the usual schedule.

The system change has disrupted invoice delivery and slowed down the correction of incorrect invoices. The wellbeing services county is currently working to resolve the situation.

One invoice may include charges for several months

There may continue to be delays in sending invoices. As a result, a single invoice may include client fees for several months. Invoices covering several months will automatically have a longer payment period than usual.

The delays affect client fees that are billed monthly. Rent invoices for housing services have been sent on schedule and will continue to be sent as usual. There have also been no significant delays in the invoicing of appointment fees, such as fees for physician services or oral healthcare services.

The payment period can be extended if necessary

If a single invoice includes charges for several months, the payment period can be extended if necessary, provided that the invoice has not yet reached its due date and previous invoices have been paid. In such cases, please contact Sarastia customer service by calling 020 6399 400 (on weekdays from 9:00 to 13:00) or by using the OmaSarastia online service.

More information about client fees is available on the wellbeing services county’s website.

We understand that delayed invoices can cause uncertainty and make it more difficult to plan your finances. We apologise for the inconvenience this situation is causing our clients.
