Support for informal care
You may be eligible for informal care if your capacity to function has deteriorated and you need help from another person to cope with everyday life. Informal care means that a person close to you cares for you in your own home. The person may receive informal carer's allowance from us and services that support your care. The amount of the allowance depends on how binding and demanding the informal care is. We support the informal carer's coping by arranging days off from informal care tasks and, for example, by providing coaching to support informal care and an opportunity to have a health examination. We will assign an appointed worker for you and, if necessary, arrange other services for you in addition to informal care. When your informal carer has days off, we can arrange a carer for you at home or care in a place other than your home.
Conditions for receiving the Service
