Document publicity description

This is a document publicity description in accordance with the Act on Information Management in Public Administration (906/2019, section 28). In this case, the information management entity as described in the legislation refers to the Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County.

A document publicity description is one way to assist citizens in directing their data requests to the information pools maintained by the information management unit. The document publicity description is based on the information management model of the Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County.

The information management model is updated in connection with administrative changes, changes in information systems, and any other changes that affect information management. Correspondingly, this document publicity description is also updated as needed.

Under section 13 of the Act on the Openness of Government Activities (621/1999), a request for access to information of an official document must be sufficiently specified, so that the authority can determine which document the request concerns. The authorities are under an obligation to assist the requestor in specifying the document. The possibility to obtain information on the information pools maintained by the authorities promotes administrative transparency.

This description lists the data stored in the Wellbeing Services County’s case register and in the information pools maintained by services information management. The datasets and underlying information systems have been described for each information pool, categorised by data groups.

Datasets are not openly accessible through the technical interface, unless explicitly mentioned in the system description.

You can make a data request addressed to the Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County through the forms provided on the website or by submitting your request to the Registry Office of the Wellbeing Services County. If the Wellbeing Services County receives a data request that falls under the jurisdiction of another authority, it will be transferred to the competent authority in accordance with section 21 of the Administrative Procedure Act (434/2003).
