Call rates
Starting from 2024, the costs for phone calls (numbers starting with 029, 019, 09, and mobile phone numbers) are determined according to your phone subscription’s rate list:
- Local network rate for calls from a landline.
- Mobile charge for calls from a mobile phone.
- International call rate for calls from outside Finland.
Please note that you will be charged for queuing. If you have a package subscription with a fixed monthly fee, it’s advisable to confirm with your service provider whether nationwide subscriber numbers (those beginning with 029) and landline numbers (calls starting with 019/09) are included in your plan. The Wellbeing Services County does not charge clients any additional fees beyond the standard call rates.
The amendment to section 65 of Act on Electronic Communications Services came into effect on 31 December 2023. The cost of calling to nationwide subscriber numbers cannot exceed the local network rate or mobile charge (indicated by the acronyms pvm/mpm).
